A Pupdate

Hi everyone! Heidi here....I am still in Memphis; I had some new surgery and my leg is feeling much better. I am not entirely out of the woods yet...but if all goes well I can maybe come home early next week! I sure hope so. Have a greyt weekend every body. Keep thinking good thoughts for me. Love, Heidi.

I packed my bag......

I am off on another road trip. This time, my foster dad and I are on the way to Memphis! Not for blues and barbeque--but to see Dr. Pearce. He is going to see what he can do to make my leg stronger. My foster mom says to be brave and listen to what Dr. Pearce says. That should be easy because I am VERY good listener! Hope to be back in town soon..have a good week everyone. Love, Heidi.

Working it.....

Since it is a quiet Sunday, we decided to work on my portfolio. Soon I will be in the running for Nashville's next top adoptable hound model. I am trying to smile with my eyes like Tyra Barks advises, and show different sides of my personality. The last picture shows what I REALLY think! Love, Heidi.

Cast-less in Franklin

Hi everyone! I did get my cast off yesterday, was so tired I did not feel like a photo shoot. I now have a splint which feels MUCH lighter. I go back in 2 weeks for a check up and then maybe I can be more mobile. Thanks for all the good wishes! Love, Heidi.

Heidibal Lecter

Hi everyone.....I decided that today was the day my cast should come off and NOT Wednesday! After I came in from outside I went to my crate and proceeded to chew. Luckily, my foster mom caught me about 10 minutes into it...as you can see it has been re-bandaged and now I have this awful mask to wear..and a new nickname. Maybe we can see about getting it taken off a day or so early. I didn't mean to be bad I was just itchin'--Love, Heidi.

Anniversary!

Hi everyone, it has been one month since I left the surgeon and came to stay in my foster home. Thanks so much to everyone who made it possible for me to have my leg fixed and come to GPA-N to find a forever home. I am not ready for a M & G yet--so I am sending you my very best flag pole--in the hopes we all have a save and fun holiday weekend. Love, Heidi

Two More Weeks!

Keep paws crossed I only have 2 more weeks of my unfortunate incarceration. As you can see I am being treated like a prisoner-- lots of bullies and bars. Even the short amount of time I'm allowed in the courtyard is very stressful to me. Please send nail files in treats--love, Heidi.
